Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften – We were part!
Colorful Activity
As with every other year, the Long Night of Science at FAU was buzzing with colorful activity. We were thrilled to give an enthusiastic audience of all ages a behind-the-scenes look at the research and teaching happening at our department, alongside various other contributors from the Department of Electrical Engineering. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
We kicked off with a program for the youngest visitors, which was quite a challenge this year given the large turnout, involving soldering and building autonomous robots. In the evening, our showcases—from microchips under the microscope, campus network technology, and jamming to XR technology (and much more)—offered not just fascinating insights but also made a lasting impression. Visitors were truly impressed, thanks to the dedication, expertise, and passion of the staff who represented our department.
Science: close, fascinating, and full of energy
Throughout the evening and into the night, we demonstrated just how versatile and innovative our work is — in a way that piques curiosity and inspires. That’s exactly how science should be: approachable, fascinating, and full of energy.
Thank you to everyone who participated and shared in the excitement!
