As LITES we are part of the project “Platform for Future Communication Technologies and 6G (6G Platform)”. Our goal is both to make scientific contributions to the content design of 6G and to provide scientific and organizational support to the processes for the successful implementation of the German-European 6G program.

FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg is one of twelve founding members from business, research and politics.
The first satellite of the KI Park was established at FAU’s campus.

The LITES Institute supports ELLISA in pioneering technology areas such as mobile communications, medical technology, micro- and nanoelectronics, sensor technology, and quantum technologies. In doing so, we develop educational perspectives and opportunities in the spirit of “European Engineers.”.
