In September 2016, Eva completed her Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with high honors after finishing her Bachelor’s studies. Starting in October 2017, she worked as a research associate at the Chair of Factory Automation and Production Systems (FAPS) at FAU in the research area of Engineering Systems. Her research interests include virtual commissioning, the planning and simulation of automated production systems, distributed simulation considering energy-related factors affecting system operations, and end-to-end engineering. In this context, she is a member of the Simulation in Production and Logistics (SPL) working group of the Simulation Society of the GI (ASIM).
Since May 2023, she has been working on topics related to continuing education and lifelong learning at the Chair of Electrical Smart City Systems. Additionally, she is the head of the KI Park Satellite in Erlangen-Nürnberg.
After the chair was renamed to the Chair of Smart Electronics and Systems (LITES), she took over the leadership of the Innovation and Transfer research group. She is responsible for establishing new topics at the chair such as resilience, security research, AI, 6G, and more.
