In his bachelor studies in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the Technical University of Nuremberg, Tim delved into computer science and embedded development with microcontrollers such as the STM32. With the subsequent master’s degree in Electronic and Mechatronic Systems, he expanded his knowledge in embedded systems. Since October 2021, he has been working at Siemens AG in Erlangen in the department for “Sensor System Integration”. Together with the Institute for Smart Electronics and Systems, he is working on a PhD to investigate suitable methods for evaluating signal quality in IoT sensor systems.
Since 04/2022: Researcher and PhD-Student at Institute for Smart Electronics and Systems and at Siemens AG – Sensor System Integration, 10/2020-04/2022: M. Eng. in “Electronic and Mechatronic Systems” at the Nuremberg University of Applied Sciences Georg Simon Ohm (Major subjects: Automation Technology, Electrical Power Engineering, Intelligent Networks (smart grids); Master’s Thesis: Information fusion of time series for data quality indication in an Industry 4.0 context), 10/2017-09/2020: B. Eng. In “Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the Nuremberg University of Applied Sciences Georg Simon Ohm (Major subjects: Information Technology, Automation Technology, Operating Systems and Embedded Systems; Bachelor’s Thesis: Development of a communication-enabled system for the acquisition of environment-specific parameters).
