After 15 months of intense teamwork, more than\u202f170 experts\u202ffrom the 6G Platform Germany have contributed to creating this groundbreaking document. It offers profound insights into future\u202fuse cases, technologies, and requirements\u202ffor 6G in Germany and Europe. <\/p>\n
The white paper presents a comprehensive overview of the current findings on 6G research, development, and standardization in Germany and Europe. It identifies emerging application scenarios, new technologies, and future requirements shaping the 6G landscape. <\/p>\n
The document conveys insights into future 6G use cases and use case families, highlighting contributions from various academic institutions, German industrial companies, network operators, and other stakeholders in the telecommunications sector. These use cases, representing the German 6G program, reflect the perspectives of domestic players, acknowledging that their needs may differ from those in countries with other economic priorities. <\/p>\n
Furthermore, the document aligns with the prominent European 6G projects, such as 6G-SNS and 6G-IA, reinforcing the working group\u2019s goal of harmonizing German contributions with broader European efforts.
