Sebastian Peters schloss sein Studium der Elektrotechnik, Elektronik und Informationstechnik (EEI) an der FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg im Januar 2021 ab. Seit Februar 2021 arbeitet er als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl für Intelligente Technische Elektronik und Systeme (vormals LTE) im Team Circuits, Systems and Hardware Test (CST), das er seit 2025 auch leitet.
