From 2018 to 2022, Gianluca Simone completed his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the Technical University of Munich. He then went on to specialize in high-frequency and communications engineering during his master’s program at the same university, which he completed in 2024. In 2023, he spent a semester at the Technical University of Denmark as part of an Erasmus+ exchange program. He completed his master’s thesis on “AI-based Optimization of a D-Band Transformer” in 2024 at Fraunhofer EMFT in Munich. Since January 2025, he has been working as a research assistant at the Chair of Intelligent Technical Electronics and Systems in the Radio Frequency Integrated Systems (RFIS) team at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg.
