In February 2023, Paul completed his bachelor's degree in medical engineering at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg. He then went on to specialize in medical electronics in a master's program, also at FAU, which he completed in 2025. Since October 2025, Paul is a research assistant at the Chair of Intelligent Technical Electronics and Systems (LITES, formerly LTE) in the Molecular Communications and Medical Devices (MCMD) team.
